Here Goes

So, I'm totally new to the blogging world.   I've resisted on principle for years with excuses like: there's not enough time in a day as it is; nobody cares about what I think or where I've been; I should be spending my time and energy feeding starving children or becoming more celestial; I can't remember how to spell or punctuate, and if I blog, everyone in cyberspace will know; etc.  My grownup kids keep telling me, though, that not only is blogging keeping up with technology, it's good brain exercise for the aged.  So, here I am.
